Let’s Get Ready to Rock 2020!

Good morning SMF’ers. Who is pumped for not only a new year,  but a whole new decade?

There is something that excites the heck out of me. It feels as though I am about to burst with anticipation of what is to come. Cheers to the coming year that will be filled with education and growth both personally and professionally. 

What are your goals for next year? What will make the top of your priority list? One of my favorite end-of-year traditions is to write a thank-you note to myself for achieving the goals of the next year.

For example, I am sitting down today to draft a thank you letter for all that I want to achieve in 2020 but will write it is if I have already completed it.

Some of my 2020 goals include the following:

  • continuing to focus on and prioritize self-care

  • relaunch my business website

  • become certified in yoga and meditation

  • continue to build personal training business as well as small group training for female athletes

  • continue to examine my relationship with alcohol 

  • do my best to rely less on electronics or be unplugged for a period of time each day in an effort to be more present with my family 

  • participate in a few races and train to PR in one to two races

If you like, take a moment to lay out what you want your 2020 to look like and write a letter thanking yourself for achieving that goal. It just helps us in making things happen. Wishing you a joy-filled new year. Here is to a beautiful year ahead.
