Sundays with Stephanie-Get Into the Groove

Hey, friends in fitness. How is everyone doing?

We survived week 2! Heck yeah. Do you feel like you are getting into a groove with the new normal? How is the homeschool going?

For the most part, I feel like we are getting used to a new schedule. It has not been easy, but we are getting there. Perhaps it would be better if we were at home. As you know, we chose to relocate to Emerald Isle, NC as it felt easier to distance ourselves here. There have been challenges with wifi and the kids miss being home, but I have to say, I am glad we are here.

This week’s rundown will be short and sweet. I stayed pretty busy with work (seeing clients and leading classes). I have also been trying to promote the work of others (click here for workout resources and this also kept me busy. Overall, we had a good week.

Sunday

I went for a nice walk with Matt. It felt like we were gone for hours, which was really nice. May plantar fasciitis felt ok and I have certainly kept up with exercises. Here is hoping with continued work, I will be back to running by the end of April.

Monday - Friday

Each day looked and felt fairly similar to that of last week. Every morning, I got up early in order to enjoy quiet time, breakfast and then I taught my Facebook live class at 7am. I love getting my workout in early and having others “join me” virtually. It feels good to connect on some level.

Saturday

My workout consisted of me doing exercises and Matt taping me as we made videos for an upcoming program I am offering. It was comical for sure to have the camera on the beach. I am no Jillian Michales but I had fun pretending to be (ha ha!)

Looking into next week…

Today, Matt and the kids are on their way home for a few days to gather more belongings and then they will come back to NC. I am going to be busy cranking out work and enjoy a wifi that is not overloaded. Fingers crossed I will get to enjoy a walk or two. I know there will be a classes that I am leading so that will be a great source of exercise.

I hope each of you enjoy a wonderful week. Sending love and hugs to al of you.

Steph
