Lessons Learned from My New Program Launch

Thanks to those that have been with me these last 8 weeks as I finally made a program come that had been in the works for quite some time finally come to reality.

Strong, Mindful, Feisty Females launched on 3/23/21 and I could not be more grateful for the support, encouragement and feedback of friends and for all of those who joined me for the talk. Many thanks.

In January, I had joined #Ignite offered by Majo Molfino who authored the book, Break the Good Girl Myths. I had stumbled upon her book, started listening to her podcast and ultimately joined this group alongside many other creative and talented women.

I had no idea of how this program would rock my world, in the best possible way. It has been a dream to offer a course that helped women in their 40’s and 50’s deal with or manage some of the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause. In the last year, I have been going through this and had dreaded the thought of it for the past few years.

Over the last 18 months, I have had my focus on ways in which we can best take care of ourselves as we age. This includes practices like strength training, plyometrics, proper nutrition, mindfulness and meditation techniques. Small steps every single day can add up to a good health and management of this time in our life when things can seem to g a little haywire.

I had been having a hard time organizing my thoughts to create this program, but Ignite helped guide me to making my dream a reality.

My program went beautifully. I was nervous. So nervous. What would people think? Who would actually show up? Luckily 27 out of 29 ladies came. I have gotten positive feedback and feedback that is very helpful for the future offerings.

One of my greatest learnings (and it’s always a constant reminder) is to ask for help when you need it. My slides had a few typos and this was truly my biggest fear. I was afraid for anyone to look at them because I did not want to be a pain in the neck. Well, I should have because it would have been helpful and I could saved myself some embarrassment.

I liked my progress for creating this program and it was executed. I felt incredibly prepared.

My hope the program takes flight this year and helps women who may be having a hard time.

If you are interested in learning more or want to sign up for the program, schedule a consult with me and let’s chat.
